Every Scout deserves a trained leader.  Every adult deserves training!

2008 Hoosier Trails Council FOS Shoulder Strip

“A Scout is Helpful”

Once again, we are offering our collector FOS Council Shoulder Strip.  The 2008 shoulder strip is number 3 in a 12 part

series.

2008 will be the 98th year of the Boy Scouts of America.  This years cost will be $98 or more if requested and paid by June 30, 2008.  The intent is that uniformed Scouts and Scouters wear this patch to show their support of our scouting program.  The intent is also that Scouts and Scouters only ask for the ones they will wear.

Watch for further details in the Hoosier Trail Signs as they are posted or check out our website at www.hoosiertrailsbsa.org.

Philmont 2008

White Stag National Youth Leadership           Training News

The White Stag youth and adult staff has been selected and has started training for the week-long youth leadership training course scheduled for this summer.  Many participants have submitted their applications with deposit.  We can only accept 36 for the course.  When we pass that number, names will be placed on a waiting list.  We anticipate this wait list process will start in mid March so have your participants apply early.
