Rechartering
You now have the opportunity to do online rechartering. We feel sure you will love it. Just do the following steps in order.
1. Select someone in your unit to be your Charter Renewal Processor
2. Give the recharter packet including this sheet to the renewal processor
3. The processor gathers recharter materials
4. Processor goes to council website - hoosiertrailsbsa.org
- Click on MyScouting
- Log on to MyScouting
- On left bar click on Internet Rechartering
- Select First-Time User
- Enter the unit access code (on this sheet)
- Select Unit type
- Enter your unit number (on this sheet)
Complete a password as instructed
- Complete information requested on each screen (Don't overthink this)
- Click on Local Council Information link
- When completed click submit
5. Print the Unit Charter Report Package which includes the Charter Renewal application, lists of new adult and youth members, transfers, multiples and no fee adults. A completed application for new members, transferred youth members and adult members must be attached.
6. Acquire the appropriate signatures. (Unit leader and Chartered Partner head)
7. Take the entire packet, required applications, money, and Centennial Quality Unit Commitment form and email form to your district roundtable before your unit expiration date.

Take or mail the above directly to the Service Center
Remember all must be in the Service Center before your expire date. Also remember Unit leaders and Committee Chairmen must be trained in their position.
If you must complete the renewal using the paper method complete the form below and return to the Service Center.
